M+1A Method

Real-World Application of the M+1A Method

The M+1A Method was not conceived merely as a theoretical formulation, but has been validated through real-world applications of Vertical Engineering in existing buildings. One of the first complete studies of the method was conducted on an existing residential building, in which structural, legal, regulatory, economic, and risk-related decisions were evaluated in an integrated manner before any design or construction activity. This study demonstrated, in practical terms, how Vertical Engineering guides responsible technical decisions, avoiding intuitive solutions and consolidating a structured, verifiable, and justifiable decision-making process.
