Standards Interpretation

The International Vertical Expansion Standardization Institute (IVEXSI) may provide structured activities exclusively dedicated to the interpretation of IVEXSI Standards.

Standards interpretation is intended to clarify:

• the scope, intent and structure of IVEXSI standards;

• the meaning of normative terms, definitions and classifications;

• the logic of decision frameworks and annexes;

• the correct institutional use of standards within professional practice.

These activities are strictly limited to the explanation of published standards and official institutional documents.

Nature and Limits of Interpretation

Standards interpretation does not constitute:

• professional training or education;

• technical instruction or skill development;

• design, planning or execution guidance;

• consultancy or advisory services;

• academic qualification or licensing.

IVEXSI does not teach methods, calculations, construction techniques or project solutions.
All professional judgment, planning decisions and project outcomes remain the sole responsibility of licensed professionals and applicable authorities.

Relationship with Certification

Participation in standards interpretation activities:

• is not mandatory for certification;

• does not guarantee certification;

• does not replace eligibility assessment or ethical commitment.

Certification decisions are made independently, based on documented criteria defined by IVEXSI standards and governance principles.

Institutional Position

Standards interpretation activities are conducted in accordance with IVEXSI’s principles of:

• institutional independence;

• technical neutrality;

• transparency;

• avoidance of conflicts of interest.

IVEXSI does not endorse, recommend or approve specific projects, professionals, products or services through interpretation activities.
