IVEXS‑ST — Legal Notice & Intellectual Property Clause

1. Purpose

This clause establishes the mandatory legal notice and intellectual property provisions applicable to all IVEXSI Standards (IVEXS‑ST series), including planning, execution, governance, ethics, certification, and any derivative or supplementary normative documents.

2. Copyright Ownership

All IVEXSI Standards (IVEXS‑ST), including but not limited to normative texts, methodologies, terminologies, frameworks, tables, diagrams, decision models, governance structures, certification criteria, and institutional formulations, constitute original literary works authored by Walter Afonso Filho.

These works are formally registered with the United States Copyright Office and are protected internationally under U.S. Copyright Law, the Berne Convention, and applicable international intellectual property treaties.

3. Institutional Authority

IVEXSI™ — International Vertical Expansion Standardization Institute is the founding international authority responsible for defining, structuring, governing, and maintaining the discipline of Vertical Engineering, including Vertical Expansion Engineering and related normative domains.

IVEBOK® — Intelligent Vertical Engineering Body of Knowledge constitutes the authoritative body of knowledge underpinning the IVEXS‑ST normative system.

4. Permitted Use

Unless expressly authorized in writing by the copyright holder:

No part of any IVEXS‑ST document may be reproduced, translated, adapted, summarized, incorporated, redistributed, or publicly displayed;
No IVEXS‑ST content may be used for commercial, academic, regulatory, certification, or training purposes;
No derivative standards, guidelines, curricula, or institutional programs may be created based on IVEXS‑ST content.

Limited citation for academic or analytical purposes may be permitted, provided that:

Proper attribution is given to IVEXSI™, IVEXS‑ST, and the author;
Such citation does not substitute, replicate, or operationalize the normative content.

5. Prohibited Use

Unauthorized use includes, but is not limited to:

Representation of IVEXS‑ST content as public domain or open standards;
Use within governmental, regulatory, or certification frameworks without authorization;

6. Enforcement and Liability

This Legal Notice & Intellectual Property Clause shall appear:

In the front matter of all IVEXS‑ST standards;
In annexes or appendices of derivative documents;
In digital versions, metadata, and document headers or footers, where applicable.
